First – all news will now be automatically crossposted to Facebook and Twitter – how awesome is that?
Also, comments will now want you to authenticate with another social media account. This will allow us to integrate more fully into services like Facebook, specifically (since, let’s be honest – that’s where the people are!)

Phase II
Hello everyone,
It’s your friendly RFNS DJ, R’lin, and I just wanted to take a moment of your time to preview some up and coming things for RFNS. For a while now, we’ve talked about what we wanted to do, and it has been a slow proposition getting there, but, finally, we have a stable of regular DJ’s and shows. (of course more DJ’s are always welcome, HINT HINT).
Now… like I said, we have regular shows, but I fully understand that you may be unable to tune in to RFNS when we are live… so what do you do? Well, that’s what Phase II is for. We now have the capability of recording our shows, and we will be rebroadcasting them throughout the week, along with special features, original content and who knows what else.
It’s honestly a very exciting time for RFNS, I hope you take the time to be a part of it!

Well, not really, but Phylok’s feeling a little under the weather, so Jenos has graciously agreed to broadcast in his place. This means you, the masses, will not be deprived your epic tunes.
If you have requests, feel free to ping him. He doesn’t bite… hard.

For tonight’s meeting, we will be using the mumble server provided on the rfns.enjin.com site, you will need to have mumble installed. Once that’s done, there is a widget on the rfns page, just click it and it should join you to the meeting.
Listening to RFNS without being tied up (unless you like that kind of thing)
Hey! I have registered RFNS with tunein, and if you download the free tunein app for your apple or android device, you can now listen to RFNS while out and about. Once it’s loaded, just search for Radio Free Nar Shadda and it should come right up for you, then favorite it and you’ll always have access to RFNS no matter where you are!

New show, new features.
Good morning!
Just some quick updates. I will be broadcasting my own show every Tuesday from 10mp EST to midnight-ish.
We also now have both Twitter and Facebook accounts, check us out!

Here we grow again!
As of today we’ve successfully run shows from four different DJ’s, Phylok, Vaanthe, Janos, and scarily enough, myself. I know for sure that another is in the works, and we have a potential contributor to original content. Things are really picking up.

Upcoming Staff Meeting
We have a staff meeting scheduledfor this Friday 8/3 at 10pm EST.
While several pieces have fallen into place, we need to coordinate and get things going with our other shows and discuss the future of RFNS. if you have any interest in participating with RFNS, lease make every effort to be there. I will post server details soon.

Welcome!
I’m R’lin, and I’d like to welcome everyone to the landing page for Radio Free Nar Shaddaa. I’m sure that many of you are wondering exactly what RFNS is, and what do we intend it to be. No doubt, if you’ve taken the time to listen to our stream, you’re going, “What the heck is up with these completely random music selections and what do they have to do with TOR?”
Well, I’ll tell you. Right now, absolutely nothing. We’ve uploaded a bunch of random music to the main server and have it streaming so we can test our capabilities and don’t have dead air. What RFNS will become in the coming weeks and months depends completely on the TOR Ebon Hawk RP community.
RFNS is the brainchild of a collaboration between several active roleplayers on the Ebon Hawk server. It is our sincere hope that this will become a very active community driven project that will serve the EH TOR RP community. Ideally, we’d like to have several DJ’s running live shows throughout the day. We hope to host live in game events with DJ’s present to do shout outs, take requests, all kinds of things. If you have a guild event, we’d love to work with you to promote it. If you feel the need to be creative, we’re hoping to do in character news reports on actual RP events and plot lines that will be mixed into regular rotation throughout our broadcast as well as possible shows. We’ve had suggestions for sports scores (huttball), reporting from the front, possibly audio version of player journals or stories. If you can imagine it, we’d probably like to do it.
Just imagine a radio station that you can listen to that actually adds to your RP experience. This is what we hope to be. So, if you have any thoughts/ideas/input please share. RFNS can become something truly fun and special. Maybe it can even serve to bring awareness to our server’s RP community about other guilds/players/events/websites and possibly bring us closer as a community.
Who knows? The sky is the limit, all we need is you to help us push those limits.
